Over 1000 people held a rally in Olympia on Saturday demonstrating against a new gun law initiative named I-594 which was passed as law in Washington state in November. The recent gun scheme ensures gun owners in Washington state will have their name added to a government database being maintained by the state department of licensing. It also forbids gun owners from legally lending their firearm to a relative or friend, or from swapping a gun with another person.
