White Woman Found Dead in Bathtub After Attack by Black Over Drug Disagreement

Lauren Bach was found in her bath tub with blunt trauma to the head, back and neck, as well as the Black’s bite marks on her neck and back.

Homicide detectives are investigating after a 24-year-old woman was found dead inside the bathtub of a home in south St. Louis.

According to police, Lauren Bach was found unresponsive in the 6100 block of Alaska in the Carondelet neighborhood around 6:50 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said she was engaged in an argument over narcotics with an unnamed 42-year-old man when he allegedly attacked her.

Bach sustained trauma to the head, neck and back.  She was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The suspect was treated at a local hospital for lacerations to the face and was taken into custody.
