John Podesta was using gmail. That’s what was “hacked.”

There is only one way whoever leaked the Podesta emails, and that is getting a hold of his gmail password. No one hacked Google’s servers – that’s stupid.

More than likely, Podesta responded to a phishing email. Or he may have had a password that was easy enough to guess. Possibly, he could have used the same password for other accounts, one of which could have been compromised. Those are really the only options. And all of these methods of access could have been done by a single individual – they don’t require the Russian state. They don’t even require a talented person – people in Nigeria can pull-off phishing email scams.

They are blaming Russia for this because they know that “hacking” is like magic to the average person. And talking about “Russia interfering with American elections” is supposed to be big and scary and make you want to vote for Hillary so that she’ll start a World War with them.

RT:

Hillary Clinton’s campaign has dubbed WikiLeaks “Russian propaganda,” accusing it of supporting Republican candidate Donald Trump. The comments came after a cache of leaked emails from the campaign’s chairman were published by the whistleblowing website.

Addressing the site from his Twitter account on Monday, Clinton campaign spokesman Brian Fallon said: “You are no media organization. You are a propaganda arm of the Russian govt, running interference for their pet candidate, Trump.”

Fallon also accused the Trump campaign of coordinating with Russia and WikiLeaks – which he says should “cause chills.”

Although Trump has been accused by the Clinton campaign of having a close relationship with Russia and President Vladimir Putin, the Republican candidate denied those claims during Sunday’s debate.

“…I know nothing about Russia. I know – I know about Russia, but I know nothing about the inner workings of Russia. I don’t deal there. I have no businesses there. I have no loans from Russia,” Trump said, adding that it “would be great if we got along” with Moscow.

The Clinton spokesman also said on Twitter that it would be “good reading” to see internal discussions about Trump’s taxes. “But WikiLeaks isn’t targeting Trump. That tells you something,” he said.

So he’s encouraging Wikileaks – which he claims is an arm of Russian intelligence – to hack Trump.

But it was the absolute worst thing ever in history when Trump joked about Russia dropping Hillary’s missing emails.

Typical Russian hacker

Podesta himself is also blaming Russia without any evidence.

New York Times:

In his first remarks since WikiLeaks began releasing thousands of his hacked emails, John D. Podesta, Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, said Tuesday that Russian intelligence officials intent on swaying the election to Donald J. Trump had been responsible for the illegal breach into his account.

“I’ve been involved in politics for nearly five decades,” Mr. Podesta told reporters aboard the Clinton campaign plane. “This definitely is the first campaign that I’ve been involved with in which I’ve had to tangle with Russian intelligence agencies,” he added, “who seem to be doing everything that they can on behalf of our opponent.”

Without verifying the authenticity of the emails, Mr. Podesta said that he had spoken with the F.B.I. “as a victim” of hacking. The Obama administration, like Mr. Podesta, believes the Russian government has been trying to help Mr. Trump with its hacking, including the theft of emails of the Democratic National Committee this year.

Mr. Podesta said Mr. Trump had “essentially adopted lock, stock and barrel” a foreign policy that would favor the interests of President Vladimir V. Putin.

Mr. Podesta also cast blame on Julian Assange, the head of WikiLeaks and an avowed critic of Mrs. Clinton. He said WikiLeaks had strategically released the first batch of his emails Friday afternoon to distract attention from the damaging video that had just emerged of Mr. Trump making lewd comments about women.

“It wasn’t any coincidence, I think, that within minutes of the ‘Access Hollywood’ tape coming out, they decided that this was their countermove,” Mr. Podesta said.

This whole situation is nonsensical.

But they have a media that protects them. You can’t expect the masses to understand what “hacking” is. It is the media’s job to explain what I explained above – that anyone could have done this.

But they won’t do it.
