When I hear something like “a Moslem shot up a place,” I tend to assume this was done in the name of Allah in order to cow the infidels.
However, in this case, amazingly, I’d be wrong.
The truth is much, much funnier than that.
NBC:
The NBC Bay Area Investigative Unit has confirmed the identity of the shooter who opened fire on YouTube’s campus in San Bruno Tuesday. Nasim Aghdam, 39, lived in Southern California and appears to have had a robust presence on YouTube.
In a video posted in January 2017, she says YouTube “discriminated and filtered” her content. In the video, Aghdam says her channel used to get lots of views but that after being “filtered” by the company, it received far fewer views.
We all know that feel, sister.
She shot up YouTube because her workout videos got censored, lol.
Before it was announced that the shooter was a Moslem, a lot of people simply assumed it must have been someone with a grudge against YouTube, presumably for censoring or demonetizing their content.
YouTube is screwing with so many people on a constant basis, that it was only a matter of time.
Hilariously, it turns out the person who snapped first was some vegan Persian chick who had her workout videos age-restricted.
This bitch was #woke af.
In one online rant, she complained that YouTube censored her content by imposing an age restriction on one of her workout videos because they were too racy. She says the company failed to do the same thing for stars like Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj, whose videos, she says, are inappropriate for children.
Where is the lie?
In a Facebook post from February 2017, Aghdam blasted YouTube saying, “There is no equal growth opportunity on YouTube.”
On her personal webpage, she posted another rant about YouTube saying, “Be aware…there is no free speech in real world and you will be suppressed for telling the truth that is not supported by the system. Videos of targeted users are filtered and merely relegated, so that people can hardly see their videos.” Aghdam also quotes Adolf Hitler, saying, “Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it.”
Three people were injured in the shooting, but apparently none were killed, except the shooter herself who committed suicide.
Not surprising that a woman can’t shoot straight, tbh.
Meat is murder – but “no meat” can only manage attempted murder, lol.
Also: I thought that vegans weren’t allowed to shoot guns or something. Wasn’t that a rule? Does this mean she’ll have her vegan credentials posthumously removed?
But yeah, we dodged a bullet there – literally and figuratively. It could very well have been some right-wing dude, considering that those tend to be censored much more heavily by YouTube than female brown vegan fitness YouTubers.
What kind of narrative is the media going to spin with this?
At this point, far from spinning it, they’re amplifying her anti-censorship message by posting her video rants – without editing – in these articles about the shooting.
