A Greenville man is facing at least 21 years in prison after pleading guilty Tuesday to second degree murder.
26-year-old Eric Holloway entered the plea Tuesday afternoon in the Pitt County courthouse. He’s convicted in the 2010 shooting death of tow-truck driver, Walter Malloy Sr.
A judge sentenced Holloway to no less than 258 -319 months in prison for the crime.
Holloway shot Malloy outside Malloy’s family-owned business, Clay’s Wrecker Service.
Witness accounts on the 911 tapes identified Holloway’s red and white Buick as the car seen speeding away from the scene.
