375 Million Jobs Projected to be Lost to Automation by 2030

This is happening, you can be sure of that.

All these experts are predicting catastrophic losses in jobs due to incoming improvements in automation and artificial intelligence, yet no one in government or policy circles seems to be discussing any real strategy to deal with this problem. On the contrary, all you ever hear about is the need to import more low-skill laborers from third world countries to “do the jobs we don’t want to do.”

Well, we already have fruit-picking machines, AI cooks, automatic ordering and cash-out machines in businesses and all sorts of other devices that replace Mexican workers. So what the hell are these people going to do in a few years, except sell drugs and drive drunk and behead people?

CNN:

A new report has a stern warning for the global workforce: stay flexible.

The McKinsey Global Institute cautions that as many as 375 million workers will need to switch occupational categories by 2030 due to automation.

That’s a very conservative estimate. I’m betting it’s going to be a lot more than that – especially in White countries and Japan, where the tech will be deployed first, and much more aggressively.

If our companies are willing to move their entire manufacturing to the third world to save a few pennies, you can bet that they’ll replace their workforce with robots and AI software at the first opportunity as well. Not to mention that it’s an excellent way to cut down on sexual harassment lawsuits and useless affirmative action dindu hires.

The work most at risk of automation includes physical jobs in predictable environments, such as operating machinery or preparing fast food. Data collection and processing is also in the crosshairs, with implications for mortgage origination, paralegals, accounts and back-office processing.

Those kinds of jobs have been undergoing automation for a long time.

That’s just the most obvious stuff. But in fact, the bulk of office jobs will be eaten up by AI as well. In the video embedded at the top, you can see that some companies have already replaced middle management with an AI system, apparently with success. Even “creative” jobs like graphic design, advertising and so on can be drastically augmented with these upcoming systems, allowing companies to cut down their departments to a fraction of the workforce they once had.

To remain viable, workers must embrace retraining in different fields. But governments and companies will need to help smooth what could be a rocky transition.

“The model where people go to school for the first 20 years of life and work for the next 40 or 50 years is broken,” Susan Lund, a partner for the McKinsey Global Institute and co-author of the report, told CNN Tech. “We’re going to have to think about learning and training throughout the course of your career.”

The problem though, is that this sort of “continuous learning” is only possible for a fraction of the population with both a high IQ and the right temperament. You think the average 50 year old factory worker is going to go back to school and learn software engineering? Or even just learn a completely new trade? This is insanity.

Adapting to this new situation is going to require a complete restructuring of our society.

And that’s not going to be possible until we get rid of these Jews.
