The Jewish Senator Ben Cardin has proposed a bill that will fine people who support a boycott of Israel. This bill will greatly strengthen the Constitution and promote freedom.
I can’t believe the amount of anti-Semitism in Congress. All 100 US Senators and 435 Congressmen should be supporting this fantastic bill.
WTF is their problem any way? Are they Nazis? Do they read White supremacist websites like the Daily Stormer?
A bill that would criminalise boycotts against Israel has been signed by 45 US senators and 237 congressman.
The so-called “Israel Anti-Boycott Act” would impose fines of up to $250,000 (£192,000) on any US citizen “engaged in interstate or foreign commerce” who supports a boycott of Israeli goods and services.
The US has long defended Israel in territorial disputes in the Middle East, even as the Israeli military has expanded into areas assigned to the Palestinians by international law.
This position runs counter to that of the United Nations, which claims Israel’s settlements in occupied Palestinian territory have “no legal validity”, and “constitute flagrant violation of international law”.
We need to compile a list of the 55 US Senators and 198 Congressmen who have not yet agreed to support this bill. They must be publicly shamed into supporting it.
According to the United States Constitution, it is unconstitutional for any member of Congress to oppose a pro-Israel bill. It is also unconstitutional for any member of Congress to criticize Israel. These are just a couple of the great freedoms enshrined in our founding documents.
By not supporting this legislation, these Senators and Congressmen are telling their fellow Americans that they hate freedom. This is a bill that promotes freedom of speech. Anybody who says otherwise is Hitler.
It’s really simple. If you do not support Israel 100 percent, you are against the Constitution and you are against America.
