Inadequate oversight for the U.S. taxpayer-funded $83 billion effort to develop the Afghan security forces has led to a waste of money and hindered the training and capabilities of the war-ravaged country’s troops, an American watchdog agency revealed this week.
Despite the tens of billions of dollars devoted to the development of the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) since the war began in October 2001, the troops continue to suffer from capability lapses, suffering a historic number of casualties primarily at the hands of the Afghan Taliban. The ANDSF includes military and police units.
Taliban narco-jihadis control or contest about half of the country, more than during any other time since the U.S. ousted the group’s regime soon after invading the country in 2001. The Taliban remains the most prominent group in Afghanistan even though the Pentagon believes the region is home to the highest concentration of terrorist groups in the world.
Gotta admit: “narco-jihadi” is a pretty badass sounding designation.
I mean, if someone did a Jehovah’s Witness-style knock on my door and was like “do you have a minute to talk about narco-jidhadism?” I would for sure give them a minute.
I’ll bet they are OJ pilled as fuck.
Also, they’re not a terrorist group. They’ve used guerrilla tactics against the US and NATO-backed forces since the invasion, but they’ve never been involved in international terrorism. Nor have they used terrorism to try to overthrow a popular government domestically. They were the popular government, and the US installed a puppet regime to try to do democracy and human rights.
In fucking Afghanistan.

Why not just let them run their own country?
Seventeen entire years later, why exactly are we still fucking with the Taliban?
These people have endured through nearly two decades of war against us. They seem capable enough.
The only reason we ever launched a war on them in the first place was fake news claiming that Osama bin Laden was a member of the Taliban. It’s possible that the Taliban could have found him and turned him over back in 2001, but they said they wouldn’t help the US unless the US provided evidence that he did 911, which they failed to do.
This is literally two decades of war and trillions of dollars spent because of a fake news hoax by sickening evil Jews.
Imagine what just this wasted $83 billion could have done for the drug addicts in our own country.
