As it turns out, gang sex-attacks are not as popular as Merkel thought they would be.
In a recent N24 Emnid poll, an overwhelming majority of 79% of the population call for the acceptance conditions for arriving refugees to be tightened.
Considering only CDU/CSU voters, as many as 90% call for a change of course. 15% consider the current course to be the correct one; among Union voters, it is less than one tenth (eight per cent).
CDU/CSU is her own party.
Merkel’s plan is still to stay the course. She says she’s going to deport criminals, but it is basically impossible to deport anyone from any European country. Even if she really did make deportations legal, they all know they can claim to be homosexuals at the last minute, which makes deportation illegal under any circumstances.
She also just keeps saying Turkey is going to fix it somehow.
Thousands a day are still pouring in, and the Merkel government is saying they want 10 million more. The EU is saying bring 3 million by the end of the year. At Davos it was suggested we bring in a billion.
Is Germany really going to simply lay down and die because they feel guilty about an imaginary Holocaust?
