Actually, No, Black Lives Don’t Matter

Stuff Black People Don’t Like

No really they don't.
No really they don’t.

Those protesting in Ferguson and throughout metropolitan St. Louis continue to insist “Black Lives Matter.”

It’s the rallying cry of ‘Justice for Michael Brown’ rallies, yet this story from mid-day today seems to dispel this notion. [ Toddler shot in both legs in drive-by, Fox2Now.com, 10-25-14]:

A two year old is the latest child to be caught in the middle of a drive by shooting, this time in St. Louis just north of Soldan High School. It happened next door to a church fish fry.

We understand the two year old boy is in stable condition. Authorities are protecting his whereabouts since he is a crime victim. What we do know is that there were multiple witnesses to the shooting this afternoon.

Bullet casings were scattered across a parking lot at a Chinese restaurant on North Union at Hodiamont. Just yards away,a church fish fry, attracting customers and next door a branch of the St. Louis City Public Library.

Police are now trying to unravel what caused this attack in broad daylight. They believe someone returned fire aiming at the attackers.

Police say 12 to 15 black males were recording a video about 2:30pm where they danced and used hand gestures. Suddenly a silver vehicle drove by and someone inside fired multiple shots at the crowd.

Ingrid Smith was right there, she saw the two year old struck by gunfire in front of the restaurant. “You could hear a bunch of shooting. It was about 25 people out here but no one got shot but the two year old little boy.”

Smith, who had been helping at the church fish fry, says the child was with his parents.

“He had two bullets in the sides of his legs. His daddy was hysterical going crazy, ahh, hh my son, my son. But the little boy cried for about five minutes and he raised his head up and said `Daddy I`m okay. Don`t cry.` It taught me something today that God is good and children can teach us something and encourage us.”

The experience, Smith says, has encouraged her to turn her life around.

The future of St. Louis, no, all of America, is held hostage by a people who would dance around while their progeny is gunned down in drive-by-shootings; but will only protest such shootings when white cops are behind such actions.

No, black lives don’t matter.
