Russia proposed an investigation into the claim Assad was gassing his own people because he is evil and insane.

This is a perfectly reasonable idea. Why not look into these claims? If it is true, we still shouldn’t do anything since it doesn’t affect us but it should still be confirmed (or more likely denied).
Of course, looking for things that are true is morally wrong in the current year and America rejected that proposal because it would be evil to not assume it happened exactly as the Jews are saying it did.
