File photo above shows Morgan Freeman during his time as President of the United States.
Historians have falsely claimed for years that Barack Obama was the first black President of the United States. This claim is simply not true. The historical record shows conclusively that America’s first black President was none other than Morgan Freeman.
Some of you might be too young to remember, but back in 1998, Freeman led our country during a time of great crisis. A comet hit the planet and nearly killed all of humanity. It was only thanks to Freeman’s presidential leadership that the world survived.
With that said, it is deeply disturbing that a man held in such high regard would treat women so poorly. Eight women have come out accusing Freeman of sexual misconduct. This makes him the latest high profile figure exposed by the #MeToo movement.
Multiple women alleged to CNN that they were subjected to the actor’s inappropriate behavior.
Morgan Freeman has been accused of sexual misconduct by eight women. Sixteen people spoke to CNN about the actor’s alleged inappropriate behavior, describing multiple troubling incidents throughout his career.
In all, 16 people spoke to CNN about Freeman as part of this investigation, eight witnesses and eight who claim to be victims.
A young production assistant said that in the summer of 2015, while she was working on Freeman’s bank heist comedy Going In Style, she was subjected to several months of harassment. She alleged that Freeman repeatedly touched her without permission, resting his hand on her lower back or rubbing her lower back, and frequently made comments about her figure and clothing.
In one incident, she said Freeman “kept trying to lift up my skirt and asking if I was wearing underwear,” adding that he never successfully lifted her skirt. “Alan [Arkin] made a comment telling him to stop. Morgan got freaked out and didn’t know what to say.”
A senior member of the production staff of the movie Now You See Me in 2012 told CNN that Freeman “did comment on our bodies… We knew that if he was coming by … not to wear any top that would show our breasts, not to wear anything that would show our bottoms, meaning not wearing clothes that [were] fitted.”
Since women never lie for personal gain, we have no choice but to accept that all of these women are telling the truth. It is a real fall from grace for Freeman.
To his credit, he did apologize for his actions.
Morgan Freeman, who has been accused by multiple women of inappropriate behavior or harassment on set, at his production company and/or while marketing his movies, issued a brief statement of apology this morning, saying, “Anyone who knows me or has worked with me knows I am not someone who would intentionally offend or knowingly make anyone feel uneasy. I apologize to anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected — that was never my intent.”
But as we know, apologies can never make up for this type of disgusting behavior. That’s because we are living in the #MeToo era. This is a period of time when women have the power to destroy any man’s career and reputation through accusations.
It’s definitely a very sad and unfortunate situation. This is a man who helped save all of humanity from an extinction level event and he will now be remembered as a sex pervert for all of eternity.
