Diversity, it has been said, is our greatest strength.
I have no idea what that means, and as far as I’m aware, no one promoting that idea has ever even attempted to explain what it means.
What I do know is that diversity is our greatest source of weird, gross shit.
A Chicago man was charged with murder Thursday for allegedly slitting the throat of his 2-year-old son to the point of “near decapitation,” authorities said.
Rolando Ortiz, 37, was looking after his son, Mateo Garcia Aguayo, on Wednesday afternoon, but became frustrated because the child was “running around and was keeping him awake,” Area Central Detectives Cmdr. Brendan Deenihan said during a news conference, according to the Chicago Tribune.
That’s when Oritz held his son down and cut his throat with a kitchen knife, Deenihan said, according to the paper. The father then tried to slit his own wrists after realizing what he had done, Deenihan added.
“Mateo wasn’t old enough to make a bad decision. Mateo wasn’t old enough to take the wrong path in life,” Chicago police Superintendent Eddie Johnson said, according to the Tribune. “He was just an innocent kid whose trust and safety was betrayed by one man he should never have to question: his father.”
I’m not even going to comment on why a person would decapitate their own toddler. Because – whatever. These people just do shit like that. It doesn’t matter why. And at this point, I don’t even have an academic interest in understanding why.
Remember that there is no longer any serious attempt to claim that these people somehow benefit our society.
They used to do the whole “jobs Americans don’t want to do” thing. That was George W. Bush’s thing when he was first flooding us with these rodents. But then people were like “yeah but we have all this unemployment, and we’ve got these robots coming in…” – and so now the ONLY argument is that we have to let them live in our country because it would be said if they had to live in their own countries, since they are so poor, diseased, crime-ridden, etc.
But they ARE NOT shitholes.
In fact, they are amazing places.
But it just isn’t fair to make people live there, because they are so hellish. It would just be so mean to tell a Mexican that they have to live in Mexico.
