This gives a whole new meaning to the phrase “bag full of tigers”!
Border Patrol agents found a tiger cub stuffed in a duffel bag on Monday.
According to Customs and Border Protection, it happened near Brownsville. Agents saw three people trying to cross the border into the U.S., with one of them carrying a duffel bag.
The suspects returned to Mexico and abandoned the bag as Border Patrol agents approached — and inside was an approximately four-month old tiger cub.
Now this is an asylum seeker I can accept!
But seriously though…
Weird story.
I guess these fetch a lot of money as pets for rich nonwhites.
