UPDATE:
Okay, so calm down you people.
It turns out this was fake news, and Bannon wasn’t removed from the NSC.
Multiple news sources are now admitting this.
Clarification for my colleagues: Bannon wasn't removed from the NSC, only from the NSC principals committee. He still attends NSC meetings.

Bannon will continue to attend National Security Council meetings–including the one this afternoon, top official told me. https://t.co/q2YTa613DY

Journalists are arguing over whether or not Bannon was just kicked out of the National Security Council. Bannon's attending an NSC meeting.

The Conservative Treehouse has an article elaborating on this.
Also, I want to say here – the comments on this article are bizarre and I believe disgusting.
Yes, I was criticizing a decision Trump made, but I was also noting that this was done under pressure. We all know he’s being pressured, and we all know it’s the Jews behind the pressure, and we should be rooting for him, supporting him – not throwing him under the bus the first time he makes a mistake.
There are always going to be hardcore “IT’S ALL A CONSPIRACY” people, but you can’t take these people too seriously. As a rule, they are not serious people.
I could list off all the things Trump has done for us, and in the future I will, but really you can just look at one thing if you want to know if Trump is a Jewish shill:
Sending the FBI to Israel to arrest the prank caller.
There is absolutely no way a Jewish shill would do this.
So please, just relax.
I want to feel like I can criticize specific decisions Trump makes without this turning into a fringe conspiracy site.
Of course, there is a power struggle. We know there is a power struggle. We know it is between Jews and nationalists.
Thus far, things have leaned way towards nationalism.
There is so much good happening, and there would be so much more good happening if Trump had his hands untied. He is trying to get his hands untied.
We need to support him – not attack and defame him based on a single decision we disagree with, which is obviously being made under duress anyway – and which in this case, turned out to not even be true.
I am worried about Nimrata Randhawa’s Syria comments, I am worried about Kushner, I am worried about a lot of things. And we should be worried.
What we shouldn’t do is throw President Trump under the bus at the first sign of a wrong turn.
There is a lesson here in the fact that this turned out to be fake news.
We need to have a little bit more faith.
Original story follows.
Well, I did not see this coming.
And I am shocked and disgusted by it.
This is the last news I wanted to see.
President Donald Trump reorganized his National Security Council on Wednesday, removing his chief strategist, Stephen Bannon, and downgrading the role of his Homeland Security Adviser, Tom Bossert, according to a person familiar with the decision and a regulatory filing.
National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster was given responsibility for setting the agenda for meetings of the NSC or the Homeland Security Council, and was authorized to delegate that authority to Bossert, at his discretion, according to the filing.
Who is this asshole?
I mean, I know who he is – but where does he get the authority to remove the most trusted man of the President from an important position?
Is Kushner involved in this?
How could he not be?
Under the move, the national intelligence director, Dan Coats, and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Marine Corps General Joseph Dunford, are again “regular attendees” of the NSC’s principals committee.
Bannon, the former executive chairman of Breitbart News, was elevated to the National Security Council’s principals committee at the beginning of Trump’s presidency. The move drew criticism from some members of Congress and Washington’s foreign policy establishment.
A White House official said that Bannon was placed on the committee in part to monitor Trump’s first national security adviser, Michael Flynn, and never attended a meeting. He’s no longer needed with McMaster in charge of the council, the official said.
Okay, fine.
If the position isn’t important it isn’t important, and if he isn’t attending meetings he isn’t attending meetings.
Why then are we making this a top news story by making a public ordeal – which makes it look like the power center in the administration is shifting?
And why right now?
Does this have to do with the Assad gassing hoax? Is Bannon speaking up about the fact that this is obviously fake, or at the very least irrelevant, and others on the team are protesting?
Is Kushner involved?
The President needs to remember his base.
His base is made-up of Bannon people.
We are Bannon people, the American working class are Bannon people. Bannon is the one we want as the closest and most listened to person in the White House. We do not want Kushner, we do not want Ivanka, we do not want Preibus, we do not want some neocon warhawk general.
We want Steve Bannon.
No ifs ands or buts there.
Bannon.
Period.
This is the first really terrible move I’ve seen so far from the Trump White House. Firing Flynn was horrible, but at least it was done under duress. Where is the duress here?
Bannon is the one who got us here in the first place.
None of this would be happening if it weren’t for him.
The Trump Presidency is a Steve Bannon production.
Period.
