Belgian police are looking for a person who has almost beaten a man to death for drinking during the Islamic holy month Ramadan.
The 39-year-old man was having a drink at an intersection in “Sint-Joost-Ten-Node”, a municipality in Brussels, when he was attacked. The attack took place on 20 May this year, around 8pm.
Belgian media say the victim was in a coma for a long time and is still suffering from the attack. The incident is seen as a murder attempt. There are chances the perpetrator lives nearby the crime scene.
The police in Belgium ask witnesses to report if they’ve seen anything.
