BET Bloodbath: One Dead, Several Injured at Two Different Pre-Award Show Parties

Two different BET pre-Award Show parties exploded into violence leaving one person dead of a gunshot, one person with bad stabbing injuries, and at least four other people injured.

The shooting took place at the exquisite Monalizza Restaurant in East Hollywood. The website for the Monalizza Restaurant advertised the event as “The African Experience.” One person was killed, and at least four others were injured.

The stabbing took place at a different BET pre-party at the extravagant Lure Nightclub. This is the former home of the Cabana Nightclub.
