A man is behind bars after he reportedly stole someone’s computer and posted about it on Facebook.
Anthony Harrison, 20, was arrested Monday after the victim notified authorities that their $800 laptop computer was stolen.
Police said the victim asked the members of the household who took the computer and Harrison stated he did not take it.
The victim later found the laptop inside Harrison’s bag. He soon admitted to the crime.
He also admitted to the victim’s boyfriend that he took the computer to sell for money to fix his car, and posted to Facebook that he stole it from the victim, according to an affidavit.
Harrison is charged with theft of property and is being held on a $2,000 bond.
