Springdale police arrested Antoine Jackson in the murder of Emily Nash.

Nash was murdered on May 26, and her body was found inside her home on Bailey Road, according to the report.

Jackson was taken into custody as a “person of interest” in her death in June.

Police said Jackson was arrested on unrelated charges for failing to pay fines and parole violations.

She was found by a relative who went to the home to check on her after she was not seen or heard from in several days, according to police.

Police say Jackson lived at the home with Nash.
