Police have arrested Dayont’e Omar Resiles in connection with the death of a Davie woman whose body was found in a bathtub.
Resiles, 20, of Lauderdale Lakes, was taken into custody Thursday morning in Sunrise. He faces a charge of first-degree murder.
Jill Su, 59, was found dead Sept. 7 in the bathtub of her home at the gated West Ridge community.
Davie police Capt. Dale Engle said at a news conference Thursday afternoon that Su was killed during an apparent burglary and that the act appeared to be random.

Sources told Local 10 that Su was found in the bathtub with her arms and legs bound and her throat slit. Local 10 also learned that a window at the home had been broken and at least one room ransacked.
Su, a relative of the Halliburton oil empire in Texas, was married to Dr. Nan Yao Su, a prominent entomology professor at the University of Florida’s Research and Development Center in Fort Lauderdale.
Engle said DNA evidence led detectives to Resiles.
He said three others were questioned.
