A bus driver called a nurse a ‘f*****g cheeky white slag’ after writing her car off.
Michael Sterling, 52, racially abused the female victim after he crashed the Arriva bus he was driving into her car.
Her car was left in the middle of the road and completely written off.
Prosecutor Steve Woodman said that after the crash on March 8 in Clifton, Manchester, Sterling jumped out of his cab and began running around banging on the windows of other cars shouting ‘you saw that’.
At one stage he confronted the nurse and began ranting and called her abusive names.
Blood from a cut to his head trickled down his face onto her top as he shouted at her, the court heard.
In a statement, the nurse said: “I was dazed and in tears and I thought he was going to strike me.
“The incident left me scared, shocked and upset.
“I have never been called anything so vulgar.”
