Pittsburgh police detectives have made an arrest in the case of a woman shot while walking home from her job.
Police say Denise Golden was walking home from her job at McDonalds when two men walked past her, called her a name, and then shot her in July.
The Pittsburgh Police Department reached out to KDKA’s Marty Griffin for help with the shooting investigation.
Today police arrested 19-year-old Raymon Brown in connection with the crime.
“Get Marty” helped raise a $5,000 reward for help in the shooting, and it paid off.
KDKA Investigator Marty Griffin was there when Brown was taken into custody, “Do you have anything to say about the shooting of an innocent woman, walking home from work, why would you shoot her?”
