According to police, Wilbert Sailor, 66, of Titusville was arrested on Monday on suspicion of battery of a child under the age of 12.

The victim’s mother contacted authorities and told them Sailor sexually abused her child the Saturday before.

Sailor, who allegedly knew the victim, was released from jail eight days prior for a similar crime that was dismissed, detectives said.
