Story
Doctor Justine Schober was bludgeoned over the head with a three-hole punch by her Black ‘husband’ last May.

An Erie doctor who was knocked unconscious in her office last May, faced her alleged attacker in court today.

Doctor Justine Schober testified in court against Eddie Johnson.

Investigators say Johnson attacked Schober in her Modern Tool offices and beat her over the head with a three hole punch and stole items from her office.

Schober reflected on her last memories before the attack.

Schober revealed she was working in her office alone when she heard someone in her office and thought it was her boyfriend.

Schober says she doesn’t remember much after that, other than medics putting a surgical collar on her neck.

During cross examination, the defense countered that a man who was harassing Schober raised reasonable doubt that it was Johnson who attacked her.

Schober said she didn’t know who attacked her.

More information came up about the man who was harassing her.

That man was Schober’s estranged husband.

Schober said she filed a production from abuse order against her estranged husband following the attack even though she didn’t know if it was him who attacked her.

Johnson is facing attempted homicide, robbery and aggravated assault charges in the alleged attack.

The trial continues tomorrow.
