A Cheverly man has pleaded guilty in a fatal hit-and-run in College Park in January.
Prince George’s County prosecutors said Liam Adepo pleaded guilty to failure to remain at the scene of a collision involving death in connection with a Jan. 17 collision that left Cory Hubbard dead.
Prosecutors said Adepo was seen on security video at Looney’s Pub in College Park and that he appeared intoxicated when he got into his car and drove off.
Prosecutors said Adepo struck Hubbard on Baltimore Avenue, fled the scene and told his roommate and a relative the next day what happened. The relative called police, who went to Adepo’s house, where prosecutors said he admitted to driving the car.
Adepo faces up to two years in prison and will be sentenced Jan. 30, 2015.
