Jeffery Conrad, the prime suspect in the murder of his 40-year-old ex-girlfriend, was scheduled to be arraigned in Stow Muni Court Thursday morning; however, that had to be postponed until tomorrow due to Conrad’s bizarre behavior.
Conrad was refusing to leave his jail cell and was laughing at corrections officers.
He was charged Wednesday with the stabbing death of Amanda Russell. She was found dead behind her 8th Street home in Cuyahoga Falls on August 28. Her daughter found her body when she came home from school.

Cuyahoga Falls Police say Conrad became a person of interest earlier this week after his arrest for threatening a park ranger at Euclid Beach with a knife, just hours after Russell was found dead.
He allegedly told rangers to kill him and said that he was crazy.
Conrad is Russell’s ex-boyfriend from two years ago. He was tossed into jail twice for attacking her.
She had a restraining order out on him that police say he violated at least once.
