New Orleans police are trying to identify two women seen in surveillance video beating up a man and stealing his wallet and phone in the French Quarter. The man was moderately injured, police said.
Police said the women approached the 51-year-old man Saturday (Oct. 3) around 6:30 a.m. in the 800 block of Burgundy Street and started talking to him. One of the women punched the man, knocking him to the ground. The women went through his pockets and took his wallet and phone then left in a dark Ford sport utility vehicle, police said.
