A Staunton man charged in a Waynesboro death will spend the next five years in prison.
Wednesday, a Waynesboro judge sentenced 54-year-old Andrew Lewis Watkins Jr. to 10 years in prison, but with half of that time suspended.
Watkins had been found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in June.

Authorities say the crime happened on July 28, 2014 when Watkins hit 52-year-old Joseph Bickers in the head at a home in the 1200 block of Wine Avenue.
