A Lawton man, charged with first-degree murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, will stand trial.
Marquise Rasco appeared before a judge Monday for his preliminary hearing. Police say Rasco kicked through the front door of Karl and Kelly Huffmaster’s home with a weapon and demanded money.
Monday, Kelly Huffmaster said Rasco put a gun to her head, and when her husband tried to grab the gun, Rasco shot him in the chest. Karl Huffmaster died from the gunshot wound.
The judge found there is enough evidence for a trial.
Rasco is currently being held at the Comanche County Detention Center.
