Fort Hood officials released details Tuesday about the soldier accused in an apparent triple murder suicide in Killeen.
The press release sent out Tuesday afternoon listed Spc. Ata-Se Giffa, 30, as a member of the 1st Battalion, 62nd Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 69th Air Defense Artillery Brigade.
Police say Lydia Farina, 31, Larry Guzman, 40, and Giffa’s wife, Dawn Giffa, 28, were all shot and killed by Giffa late Sunday night. A 41-year-old woman was also shot and remains in critical condition at Baylor Scott & White Hospital. Her identity has not been released.
He served in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan from October 2010 to October 2011.
