A Humboldt Park man faces felony charges after prosecutors say he attacked a woman at a West Side bus stop.
Kyle D. Hill, 28, of the 1200 block of North Kostner Avenue, is charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse, criminal sexual abuse and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Hill appeared in bond court Saturday at the 26th and California courthouse where Circuit Court Judge Laura Sullivan set bail at $300,000.
On Dec. 26, Hill jumped out of a van near a CTA bus stop at 4759 W. Chicago Ave. and grabbed a 32-year-old woman, said Assistant Cook County State’s Atty. Kingsley Sawyers. Hill pinned down her arms and molested her, Sawyers said.
Witnesses helped the woman get away, called 911 and held Hill until police arrived, he said. In a search during Hill’s arrest, police found marijuana.
Hill is due in court on Dec. 30.
