Black Knife-Men Sought Over Brutal Murder of White Father-of-Two

Jon Casey died after being stabbed to death by two Black thugs in Barrack Road, Northampton.

Police investigating the “brutal” murder of a father-of-two are searching for two men he had an altercation with prior to his death.

Jon Casey, 35, from Ecton Brook, was found stabbed in Barrack Road, near to the Lazeez Indian restaurant in Northampton on Friday evening.

Northamptonshire Police said a number of cars had to swerve out of the way while the three men were arguing.

Det Insp Mark Brayfield said police had also searched a house in the area.

He was stabbed to death in broad daylight for anyone walking past to see.

Mr Casey was found stabbed at 17:30 GMT. He was taken to hospital, but died almost an hour later.

He is thought to have been in the Semilong area of the town prior to the incident.

Det Insp Brayfield, from the East Midlands Specialist Operations Unit Major Crime Team, said police believed the argument had started in Hester Street, before moving into Barrack Road.

He said CCTV showed Mr Casey had been involved in an altercation with two men, described as black, near the old Royal Mail sorting office at 17.20 GMT.
