We finally put the Moslem God in jail.
An Albany man was sentenced to 13 years in state prison for his involvement in a violent robbery last year, the Albany County District Attorney’s office said.
God Islam Botts, 25, pleaded guilty to a burglary count.
Just before midnight on Feb. 23, Botts, along with his co-defendant, Krishna Massey, 28, of Albany, broke in to a home on Schuyler Street and stole the resident’s property. Before they left they pistol-whipped the victim unconscious.
Officers were called to the scene and caught the two men still inside and recovered two guns used in the crime.
Massey pleaded guilty last month to robbery as well, and was sentenced to 15 years in state prison.
