A drug dealer in the nation’s capital has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for selling heroin that killed a 16-year-old girl in suburban Virginia.

Antowan Thorne, 37, is a menace to society who has “absolutely no potential of being a law-abiding citizen, ruled U.S. District Judge Leonie M. Brinkema Friday. She handed down the tough sentence despite Thorne’s not being directly charged to the death of teenager Emylee Lonczak in 2013.

“You appear to be unable to control yourself,” the judge told him, according to the Washington Post.

Kyle Alifom got six years for dumping her body earlier this year.

Thorne was convicted in August on drug distribution charges. Authorities say he has a long criminal history and specifically targeted young, vulnerable users.

“Miss Lonczak’s punishment did not fit her crime, your honor,” said Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael Ben’Ary. “But we ask that the defendant’s fit his.”
