The Black Muslims madman who attacked cops with an axe last week has been hailed as a “crusader seeking justice,” a New Black Panther Party official has stated, adding that more assaults will likely follow soon.
“It probably won’t be the last [attack on police] because you have a lot of frustrated people out here,” Queens New Black Panther chapter leader Frank Sha Francois told the New York Post.
He said that ax-man Zale Thompson was not technically an official member of his group, but often came to meetings to talk about “police brutality” against Blacks, including the Michael Brown case.
“I don’t condone violence, but something needs to be done,” Francois said. “We need to have some type of deterrent and real oversight to deter the police from violating the laws and to know they are not above the laws.”
