Why do we allow these monkeys in our nations?
Melisa Mora was at her daughter’s father’s apartment on the Southeast Side Tuesday afternoon when a gunman came in and opened fire.
The lives of her daughter’s father, 31-year-old Brent Black, as well as her younger sister, 17-year-old JoJo Holloway, were ended by the shots.
“We’ve all been shot,” Mora, 30, told a 911 dispatcher just before 2:30 p.m. After the shootings, she said the gunman ran from the apartment in the 4000 block of Alwood Lane at the Winchester Park Apartment complex.
Holloway was pronounced dead at the scene. Mora suffered moderate gunshot injuries and was taken to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center along with Black, who later died there.
“He’s been shot before,” she told the dispatcher about Black. “She said she didn’t know exactly what happened from Mora’s phone call to her because “I cannot get her to calm down enough to give me what’s going on.”
Columbus police arrested 21-year-old Jordan Aekins on two counts of murder after they caught him in a marshy area not too far away from the apartment complex. He is being held in the Franklin County jail in lieu of $500,000 bond.
