A man convicted in the brutal beating of a homeless man inside a Reading laundromat was sentenced to 15 to 40 years in prison Wednesday.
Floyd Patterson was sentenced on charges of aggravated assault and conspiracy to assault for the January 2014 beating of Robert Mohler inside the Penn St. Laundromat, an attack captured by the business’s surveillance cameras.

Mohler died a few days later.
Patterson is expected to serve 19 to 55 years in prison due to sentences from earlier convictions for delivery of heroin, and flight to avoid punishment, prosecutors said.
