Sgt. First Class James Vester was murdered by primitives after arranging to purchase an i-pad from them online.

The second defendant in a 2013 robbery and murder of an Indianapolis veteran received his sentence.

Tryon Kincade, 20, was sentenced to 35 years with 28 years to be served in the Indiana Department of Correction and five years of community corrections for his involvement in the murder of Sgt. First Class James Vester on December 4, 2013. Kincade pleaded guilty on June 8 to three counts of robbery.

Tryon Kincade will not have to pay for rent, food or clothes for the next several decades. Is that really a suitable punishment for murder?

Vester died while answering a Craigslist ad for an Apple iPad at an apartment on the west side. The iPad was intended to be a Christmas gift.

Tyshaune Kincade, 19, pleaded guilty to murder in April for his involvement and was sentenced to 50 years.
