Ashley Scott was murdered after her boyfriend fell for the lies of a Negro who pretended he had marijuana to sell them.

An 18-year-old Gary man was sentenced to 63 years in prison Monday for murder in perpetration of robbery and three counts of attempted robbery in a botched marijuana deal.

Ronald E. McMahan asked for forgiveness from the family of Ashley Scott, 17, of Lansing, Ill., who was murdered Dec. 3 during a marijuana deal arranged between McMahan and her boyfriend. McMahan urged his family to remain strong and told them to “keep moving forward no matter what happens.”

Defense attorney Roxanne Mendez Johnson told Lake Superior Court Judge Salvador Vasquez her client, who loved to play basketball, had plans for his future. He sat for his senior portrait and had been accepted to attend Vincennes University, she said. She said the hopes and dreams his family had for him were dashed.

Arrogant Black devil Ronald E. McMahan tried to convince the court that he felt remorse, which would have been a bit awkward for him with a face like this.

“He is remorseful for his actions, for the reckless conduct he did engage in,” she said.

Deputy prosecutor Aleksandra Dimitrijevic said Scott also had hopes and dreams that will never be realized.

She cited evidence that showed that McMahan lured Anthony Villarreal, Scott and two friends from a gas station at 15th Avenue and Burr Street where they had agreed to meet for the marijuana deal, to a dark, secluded area a little more than a block away in the 1500 block of Clinton Street in Gary.

McMahan had told Villarreal he didn’t have enough money, and he and an unnamed accomplice got out of Villarreal’s car. When McMahan and the other man returned, McMahan announced a robbery at gunpoint. McMahan then opened fire. Scott was struck just below the jawline and died within minutes.
