Black Who Assaulted and Robbed 81-Year-Old White Actress Finally Arrested

Police have arrested the heartless mugger who allegedly pummeled an elderly actress in the lobby of her Greenwich Village building during a robbery earlier this fall.

Leroy Wright, 59, was picked up and charged with the despicable attack, in which he punched the 81-year-old victim in the face and head several time, knocking her to the ground, officials said.

Barbara Ann Davison, an actress who has appeared in shows like “Orange is the New Black” and “Going In Style,” was entering her building near the corner of West 13th St. and Seventh Ave. when Wright followed her inside at around 7 p.m. Oct. 20.

He then began punching her repeatedly, knocking her down and stealing her purse, which contained her iPhone, credit and bank cards, Screen Actors Guild card, Metro Card and some cosmetics.
