Police say three people were arrested after robbing a disabled man as he was riding his motorized scooter home from a nearby store early Wednesday.
Officers said the victim had gotten cash just after midnight from an ATM at the Walgreens at 71st and Lewis when two men and a woman approached and robbed him at knifepoint.
Police arrived and the victim, William Mixon gave them a good description of the three robbers and the car they were driving.
A police sergeant spotted the car at a nearby QuikTrip and quickly arrested the two men, identified as Anthony Roan, 28, and Domenique Dibenedetto, 22, both of Tulsa. Another officer stopped the car nearby and arrested Joyce Robinson, 30, also of Tulsa.
Police say Mixon wasn’t injured in the robbery.
Roan, Dibenedetto and Robinson were booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of robbery with a firearm. Jail records show all were being held in lieu of $50,000 bond each with a court appearance set for July 8.
