Ashley Carpenter, 18, was shot dead in her Ohio home on New Year’s Eve along with her 14-year-old brother David.

Detectives with the Barberton Police Dept. made two arrests Friday in a New Years Eve triple homicide investigation.

Cops picked up Michael Deon Hendon, 22, and his brother Eric Donta Hendon, 30, both of Akron.

The 14-year-old brother David Kohler-Carpenter. Their father died in hospital today. Both were shot in the head.

Police say the brothers went to John Kohler’s Barberton home to rob the residents of drugs and money.

Kohler was shot. He died today. His 18-year old daughter Ashley and 14-year old son David were killed during the robbery as well. Both had been shot in the head.

Michael Deon Hendon and Eric Donta Hendon were both charged with aggravated murder today.

Kohler’s girlfriend, Rhonda Blankenship, 38, is being treated at an Akron Hospital.

Police have charged the Hendon’s with three counts of aggravated murder and both are being held in the Summit County Jail.
