A body has been found in an Ottawa river during the police search for a man believed to be Muhab Sultanaly Sultan — a suspect in the London, Ont., cellphone slaying of Jeremy Cook — who disappeared after jumping into the river on Wednesday.
The body of a man was pulled out of the Rideau River on Saturday morning, police say, after a search that lasted more than two days.

A member of the public spotted the body at about 9 a.m. ET, according to Ottawa Police Service Insp. John Medeiros.
