Anti-government protests in Bulgaria’s capital, Sofia, have been going on for 40 days.
On Tuesday evening several hundred demonstrators in Bulgaria turned violent, with clashes with police and stone throwing.
The demonstrators trapped over a hundred deputies, ministers and journalists inside the parliament in Bulgaria in a bid to oust the left-leaning government.
The protesters shouted “Murderers!”, “Mafia!” and demanded the resignation of the Socialist-led cabinet in Bulgaria.
Police with shields had to form a tight cordon to get the trapped out of the state building in the Bulgarian capital.
Twenty persons, including 3 policemen, were injured in Sofia.
