I would think it would be hard not to attack Trump at a funeral for a Bush. As with McCain, Bush represents something that Trump destroyed entirely.
Whether or not Trump is successful in his nationalist endeavor, the globalist conservatism that the Bushes worked so hard to create is gone and it isn’t ever coming back. This is now a battle between nationalism and left-globalism or communist-globalism.
The Bush family promised President Trump that speeches and eulogies at the late George H.W. Bush’s funeral would avoid criticizing him, sources familiar with the funeral preparations told The Washington Post.
The family reportedly assured Trump that the elder Bush’s funeral would not include the anti-Trump messaging on display at the August funeral for the late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.).
“The comparisons are presenting themselves; we are not heightening them,” a source familiar with funeral preparations told the Post.
Another source close to the preparations told the Post that Bush “wouldn’t want anyone there to feel uncomfortable, including the incumbent president.”
“It’s interesting, though, that praising the Bushes or McCain risks sounding critical of Trump even when Trump’s in no way part of the thinking,” the source told the newspaper.
Yes, that actually in fact is interesting.
Because if you are praising these globalist figures, you are praising international free trade, interventionist wars, nonwhite immigration, Russophobia and other failed policies that no one supports anymore. That is what defines these people: a bunch of stuff that normal people now hate.
No one whose side McCain was ostensibly on cared when he died – it was all Democrats coming out and talking about how great he was. Just so, Bush’s death is being mainly covered by CNN and other highly Jewish/liberal outlets.
Famous last words.
President Trump visited the body on Capitol Hill yesterday. The funeral is Wednesday and he is scheduled to attend but not speak. I’m having a hard time grasping how they are going to bring all of these neocons together for a public event and not attack Trump. But I can believe that this was what Father Bush wanted – the McCain Funeral was a nonstop attack on Trump, and he wanted this to be the softer side of globalism.
