Imagine living in a society where filthy degenerates could be arrested, and people who planned degenerate parties could be held without bail.
We need to be more like Cambodia.
A Cambodian court official says seven Westerners arrested last month for allegedly posting pornographic photos on social media of themselves engaged in sexually suggestive dancing have been deported.
Yim Srang, a court spokesman in the northwestern province of Siem Reap, said Monday that the court decided that the seven — who were freed on bail last week — could no longer stay in Cambodia.
Ten young Westerners — five from the United Kingdom, two from Canada, and one each from Norway, the Netherlands and New Zealand — were detained when police raided a party at a rented villa in Siem Reap town and found people who said they had been “dancing pornographically” and offended Cambodian standards of morality.
Three of the 10 considered organizers of the event were denied bail.
Also, imagine having a nation where foreigners who came to your country and violated your social norms were treated with hostility. That is almost a bigger deal than banning degeneracy.
Buddhists create nice societies.
As a modern Western person, you can’t really understand what religion and social cohesion is unless you’ve lived in a Buddhist country.
Technically, you can understand it if you’ve lived in a Moslem country. But Islam like communism is base and satanic, so it isn’t really the same vibe. Buddhism is what Christianity used to be: nationalistic, racially conscious, family-focused, community oriented, peaceful but willing to do war when necessary. Many of the great philosophers – Schopenhauer himself, indeed – converted to Buddhism.
The most important lesson of all is that the world you know is an illusion, projected from the mind, which holds the spirit. The material world is nothing more than a vehicle for higher consciousness. In Christianity, this is outlined in the Gospel of John, which in itself is much more useful than the rest of the Bible combined.
If we are able to grasp higher purpose, everything else fits into place and the fear of death no longer defines us.
The debate with Sargon of Akkad and other liberals comes down to the meaning of life and the role of man in the universe. Sargon believes that our only purpose is to exist as consumer units, and that everything about who we are must be measured in terms of pain and pleasure.
Higher purpose will allow us to justify everything we must do in the days that are coming.
