Toronto police have charged a Milton man with human trafficking and related charges after he allegedly forced two women to work in the sex trade in the GTA and throughout Ontario and Quebec.
Police allege he forced the women, whom they say he sexually assaulted on multiple occasions, to follow his rules and hand over all theirs earnings.

Kalib James Rahi, 31, of Milton, has been charged with four counts of sexual assault; two counts each of procuring to provide sexual services; advertising another person for sexual services; trafficking in persons by recruiting, transporting, and harbouring; exercising control by directing and influence one’s movements; financial and material benefit from trafficking in persons; and trafficking in a controlled substance schedule.
Rahi was also charged with one count each of threatening bodily harm, threatening harm to an animal, extortion and possession of the proceeds of crime.
He was scheduled to appear in court Thursday morning.
