We honestly thought it would be great for the economy.
Wow, I never thought about just having a border instead of allowing millions of third world Moslems to come in and gang-rape all the women and burn down the bitch.
One of Germany’s best known and respected think tanks has found the five billion euro cost of closing Europe’s borders is just a “fraction” of the cost associated with leaving them open and experiencing continued mass migration.
The Munich-based Institute for Economic Research (Ifo) has released new figures quantifying what exactly the damage to the German and European economies would be, and it is significantly lower than previous estimates. Taking into consideration the inconvenience and delays to trade introduced by taking action at Europe’s borders to prevent illegal migrant incursion, the Ifo put the figure at €5 billion a year.
Although a significant amount of money, report author Gabriel Felbermayr said “this cost represents only a fraction of the burden which would be incurred by continuing unregulated mass migration”. By way of comparison the cost of reception and initial care of refugees was estimated to hit €20 billion a year for just Germany alone, reports Die Welt.
This figure excludes the costs associated with migrant crime and other societal costs, and does nothing to even consider the long term costs of mass migration. A recent report from a Stockholm University academic into the life-long costs of mass migration found just the 2015 arrivals in Sweden would cost around 600 billion Swedish crowns, around £50 billion, a figure professor Jan Tullberg called “conservative”.
Of course, what may have been even cheaper would be not inviting these unlimited millions of people into Europe in the first place.
Because Merkel did invite them.
At the time, she said they were going to pay the pensions of old White people. Then it turned out that 2/3rds are functionally illiterate in that they can’t even read Arabic, let alone German or English, making it impossible that they will be anything other than an immense economic burden – nevermind the ficki ficki and other crime.
But no one ever knew that Most people in Syria, Pakistan, Afghanistan, North Africa and so on were illiterate because no one ever thought to Google it.
If someone had thought to type “global literacy map” into Google Images, this whole thing could have been avoided.
A lot of trouble also could have been avoided by typing “global rape map” into Google Images.
But you can’t blame Merkel for simply not thinking to Google something. That wouldn’t only be racist – it would also be sexist.
She is an empowered and intelligent female and we can’t bring that into question by blaming her for forgetting to spend 30 seconds Googling something before inviting millions of Moslems to come live on welfare in Europe.
