A man is now under arrest, charged with murder for the death of a 62-year-old woman whose body was found in her burned east side apartment.
Police say Jeremay Jones was arrested Friday.
Anna Marie Ferriman was found dead in her Villages at Eden Crossing Apartment by firefighters. Police say firefighters were clearing the apartment after they were called out for a fire, when they found her body. Investigators also say the fire was intentionally set.
Police have not released any more information about the Mt. Carmel East worker’s murder, but say they are still investigating.
