Chemist Makes Whiskey Which Tastes the Same as 20-Year-Old Aged Whiskey in Six Days

Even people who do not drink know that aged alcohol like wine or whiskey is generally considered of higher quality and is more valued than the same product which has not been aged.

The chemist in this video managed to make whiskey which has the same chemical properties which make aged whiskey taste different than non-aged whiskey in about six days.

Obviously, if this becomes more widespread it could cause some major damage to the alcohol industry since the supply of the aged stuff will surpass the demand in a week.

Editor’s note: Either that, or drinking expensive alcohol has always just been a vapid status move, and everyone could really just be drinking Absolute Vodka and have the exact same general quality of life. -AA
